SYSTEMS IMPLEMENTATION
Extensive experience supporting hospital departments during systems implementations, upgrades and Go-lives. Assisted in the building and testing of workflow screens for billing, coding and transcription; troubleshooting and assessing proper procedures and protocol. Systems experience includes: McKesson Horizon, Epic, Meditech, CERNER (POWERCHARTS & Document Imaging Provision and Scanning), OnBase, ChartScript and various homegrown EMR systems. Developed materials and conducted training for Health information staff as end users, during implementations, including how to troubleshoot and utilize the system, cleaning up claims and properly clear edits. Stayed on with facility throughout the end of the SDLC (system development life cycle) implementation phase and maintenance phase. Attending Tidewater Community College for the ONC HITECH Program(EHR Specialist and Consultant)

In 2010, Kevin Knight joined the team after serving 23 and retirement from the United States Navy where he served as a Chief.
